$399 iPads Back on Apple’s Store as Refurbs

A couple of 1st-generation iPads have made their way back into Apple’s online store, this time as refurbished units that are waiting to be scooped up for $399, or $130 cheaper than the original retail price.

Two iPads, one boasting 3G wireless, the other double the storage, are currently selling for $399 over at Apple’s Special Deals section.

The 32GB WiFi-only version translates into a $100 discount, whereas the 3G-enabled tablet, with only 16 gigs of on-board storage, saves you $130 (naturally, for the cool wireless capabilities it possess).

First-gen iPads have been absent from Apple’s online store for a while, but now it seems there are a few units to spare. As usual, Apple fans reading this should note that these offers apply to the US Apple store only.
