Tara Strong (born Tara Lyn Charendoff 12 February 1973) is a voice actress originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her voice was used for a wide variety of U.S. animations including main roles in The Powerpuff
Girls (as "Bubbles"), The
Fairly Oddparents (as "Timmy Turner"), Teen Titans (Raven) and many others. She has lent her voice to Japanese Animations as well, including Sailor Moon, Spirited Away, and Princess Mononoke as well as her work as Rikku in
Final Fantasy X and sequel Final Fantasy X-2. On January 30th, 2007 Tara confirmed that she is lending her voice to the North American localization of Blue Dragon.
Tara Strong is confident that the game will have great success: "I am working on that game right now. It is a HUGE undertaking. There is tons of dialogue. It is an extremely tedious job ... but I believe the fans will see it was worth every moment."
Blue Dragon is an
RPG for the
Xbox 360. It was developed by Artoon based on a design by Final Fantasy series originator Hironobu Sakaguchi, who is also supervising development. Microsoft hopes this game's release will provide a great boost to Xbox 360 sales in Japan, as it will be one of the first traditional Japanese RPGs to come to the Xbox 360 system.
