These are genuine and they also confirm that the machine is launching in no more than a month

Seen fake pictures of Xbox 360 Elite packaging, seen some real ones of the 120 gig hard drive it comes equipped with but never any genuine Elite shots. You know, the console itself. After all, the Elite is what's driving everyone into starting rumors and all kinds of shenanigans, isn't it? Well, it was about time some photos of the elusive system were leaked and here they are. The picture you see was taken by a forum member over at the China's TGFC, as Engadget says. He claims to have managed sneaking some shots of the Xbox 360 Elite in production.

Wow! Actual mass production shots, that's neat! And that's not the only photo as you can imagine. The gallery is packed full of pictures showing the machine in different angles and a close-up of the 120 gig HDD that look more than real to me. You can actually see the 120 GB written on that HDD's metal strip. Nobody can say now that the Elite's fetures aren't true or that it's not coming soon. The new gaming system from Microsoft is pretty much finished from the looks of these photos.Fans should expect Microsoft to ship these babies in no more than a month.

Remember, the new Xbox 360 Elite will be HDMI enabled, it will have IPTV capabilities, there will probably be a data cable bundled to the whole system for old 360 users to transfer data to their new SKUs, it will have what is probably its best feature - the 120 gig hard drive (although some gamers don't see disk space as a top priority) and will probably have a lower heating level and a lower retail price as well due to 65 nanometer chips. That's about it so far, so until someone comes and posts pictures of the 65 nanometer cups themselves, there's not much to be poked with this story.
