The special deal won't last forever, so hop on it

LG may not have launched any new awesome monitor or TV this week, but it and its retailers do have something to show for their effort. Or perhaps it's a hint that sales aren't doing that great all around?

Whatever the reason, a certain monitor that normally costs $999 / €877 has now been cut in price by a fair bit, more than 10%, actually.

Now, it is available for $869 / €763, a full $131 / €115 less than the standard price.

Considering that this is an ultra QHD display with ultra widescreen aspect ratio, that's saying a lot.

In other words, the monitor has a 21.9 aspect ratio, making it wider than cinema screens, and a native resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels.

If you're in the market for a less than ordinary display, the LG 34-inch Ultra QHD 21.9-inch monitor is up for order with free shipping to boot. You may as well take advantage of the 13% price cut before it goes away. It probably won't last past the weekend.

Note the edgeless design with almost invisible bezel and simplistic stand. It should be especially good for multitasking and image/video editing while other applications are running on the sides. Such are the benefits of large screen space.
