The 32GB version of the Nokia Lumia 1520 smartphone is now available for purchase in the United States on the network of wireless carrier AT&T, only a few days after rumors on the matter started to emerge online.

Users interested in grabbing the handset can see it listed on the operator’s website today, with a price tag of $249.99 (€183) attached to it, with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

Provided that you don’t want to purchase the phone on contract, you’ll be able to buy it at $639.99 (€470) outright. As WPCentral notes, the phone can be bought only in Black at the moment, and only through the online store.

Previously, the device was up for grabs through AT&T only with 16GB of internal memory. That model remains available, priced at $199.99 (€147) on contract, or at $584.99 (€430) without one.

Those who might see the cost of this smartphone as being too high should check the deals available on it through various retailers in the country. The 32GB variant of the handset might be included in some of them as well.

Nokia Lumia 1520 was launched as the largest, most powerful Windows Phone 8 smartphone to date, courtesy of its 6-inch full HD touchscreen display and of a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8974 processor with Adreno 330 GPU.

Moreover, the handset lands on shelves with 2GB of RAM inside, as well as with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the device features a 20-megapixel camera with support for full HD video recording. There is also a front camera included in the mix for video chatting while on the go.

Nokia Lumia 1520 is powered by a 3400mAh battery and arrives at AT&T with support for the wireless carrier’s 4G LTE network. The phone also sports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, NFC, Mobile Hotspot, and built-in GPS receiver.

Running under Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 platform with Nokia Black, the handset also features various exclusive applications coming from Nokia themselves, including Nokia Beamer, Nokia Care, Nokia Camera, and more.
