Starting today, mobile phone users in India can head over to the official Google Play Store to grab a new flavor of the Nexus 7 tablet PC, namely one that features 32GB of internal memory.

The tablet PC is available for purchase through the Google Play Store in India starting today, though only with WiFi connectivity packed inside.

However, as AndroidOS notes, the device is currently listed as in stock, and should ship to those who purchase it in one or two days.

Previously, Google has made available for its customers only the 16GB variant of the tablet PC through its online portal, which continues to be sold alongside the 32GB model.

For those out of the loop, we should also note that the 32GB flavor of Nexus 7 started being sold by ASUS only a few days ago, and that all Reliance Digital and ASUS-branded stores are currently selling it.

At the moment, the 32GB flavor of the Android tablet PC is available for purchase through the Google Play store in India at INR 18,999 – $350/€269 (the 16GB variant costs only INR 15,999 – $295/€226).

Made official last year during the Google I/O conference, the Nexus 7 tablet PC features a 7-inch 1280 x 800 pixel display, and packs a 1.2GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor inside.

The device also sports 1GB of RAM, the aforementioned 32GB of internal memory, no microSD memory card slot, and a 1.2MP front camera for making video calls.

The specifications list of this device also includes a 4325mAh battery, NFC capabilities to complement the WiFi connectivity, and Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top.

Users in India interested in purchasing the tablet should head over to this page in the Google Play Store for that. They can also search for it in the devices section of the portal.
