Officially introduced on April 19th, RIM's BlackBerry PlayBook is now available for purchase from numerous major carriers and retailers.

Several days after the tablet was introduced and WIND is adding the 32GB variant of the tablet to its portfolio.

However, the carrier has yet to make an official announcement, as the tablet is deeply hidden within the Accessories section of its webstore.

As expected, the 32GB ultra-portable BlackBerry PlayBook is available from WIND for $599, but it cannot be purchased online.

The carrier recommends that potential customers should purchase the tablet from the nearest store that has the item in stock.

The 32GB BlackBerry PlayBook has the same size (130 x 194 x 10 mm) as the other two versions (16GB and 64GB) and runs BlackBerry Tablet OS, which is built on user-friendly QNX technology.

It is unclear if the 32GB PlayBook was available for purchase from WIND at the time of the 16GB model's launch or it was added afterwards.

Those who are too lazy or don't have the time to go to the nearest store to purchase the 32GB PlayBook tablet may inquire for other methods of purchase by calling WIND.

For the non-tech savvy, RIM's PlayBook is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor, complemented by 1GB RAM.

This is one of the first Android tablets to provide symmetric multiprocessing, thus offering users true multitasking.

The tablet has a 7-inch TFT multi-touch capacitive display with 16 million colors support and 600 x 1024 pixels resolution.

Obviously, the tablet offers enterprise support through the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, which allows users to pair their PlayBook tablet with a BlackBerry smartphone and access corporate data whenever they need it.

Other highlights of the PlayBook include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity, 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, 3-megapixel front facing camera, Adobe Flash 10.1 support, built-in support for HTML 5, as well as support for video calling.
