Both models will be available for purchase via Dick Smith retailer

Android fans in Australia who are still waiting for the new 32GB Nexus 7 to hit shelves will be happy to know that the slate has been confirmed to arrive soon.

According to AusDroid, the 32GB 3G and Wi-Fi Nexus 7 models will be available for purchase in Australia via Dick Smith Electronics.

The 3G version of Nexus 7 will be available for 400 AUD (320 EUR), whereas the Wi-Fi model will be up for sale for 320 AUD (255 EUR).

The company also sells the 16GB Nexus 7 for only 270 AUD (215 EUR), which is about 50 AUD (40 EUR) cheaper than the suggested retail price.

No word on the exact release date of the tablets, but Dick Smith Electronics promised it would offer more details in the following days. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
