It was retrieved by a man collecting elections memorabilia

An odd listing found its way to Craigslist last week, as someone posted an ad for a Romney campaign sign.

The 300-pound (136-kg) plaque engraved with his name and “Believe in America” motto went out to Republican Don McDowell.

He collects elections memorabilia, and was excited to get the campaign sign. It had been left at Des Moines campaign office following the elections, and staff probably just need to get rid of it, and create a bit of a post-elections buzz in the process.

"I've been going to political events since about the time I could walk so I've got signs, buttons and things from the caucuses and the straw poll," McDowell says, according to the Inquisitr.
