Also with gold and titanium

If you have ever had doubts about the true value of Windows Mobile 6.0, then it's right about time for a reality check. Windows Mobile 6.0 just got the ultimate wrapper, complete with gold, titanium and black diamonds, courtesy of Gresso. The manufacturer of luxury mobile phones just took Windows Mobile 6.0 to a whole different level, with the introduction of the Avantgarde Collection - Black Diamonds. The two mobile phones, both running Windows Mobile 6.0 come with hefty price tags of over 30,000 euros. But the operating system's "accessory" is well worth every dollar.

"23 function keys are executed of gold and encased with black diamonds of 2.53K. The front panel is embellished by a triangle inset of gold - one of special aspects of all Gresso mobile phones. The back panel is decorated with Gresso logo executed of gold. Because of rarity of black diamonds, this collection will be launched in a limited edition of 50 pieces. Avantgarde Black Diamonds Collection is made of African Blackwood, which age is more than 200 years", reads an excerpt from the description of the Royal Black Diamonds mobile phone (the syntax is that of Gresso, and yes, you would think that a company selling luxury phones for 30,000 euros could afford a top of the line translator... maximizing profit I guess).

Well, if you just happen to have 30,000 euros and are bored by your old Windows Mobile 6.0 phone, then an item of the Avantgarde Collection - Black Diamonds would be an excellent choice. But by all means, you'd better hurry since it is a limited edition. Windows Mobile 6.0 is the latest edition of Microsoft's operating system for mobile phones, but the company is already hard at work on version 7 of the platform. With the upcoming iteration of Windows Mobile, the Redmond company is reported to cook an update for 6.1 for late 2007/early 2008, with no official confirmation from Microsoft.
