Dog owners already know that these animals have an incredible sense of smell, and that proper training allows them to lend a helping nose whenever various hidden items need be found.

Still, one 3-year-old labrador named Migaloo can give hound dogs a run for their money, as this pup can locate human remains buried in the underground more than 600 years ago.

To put it bluntly: Migaloo is a trained archaeologist, and some of its future projects include digging up various sacred sites throughout Australia.

“It has taken us more than six months of training, field trials and a final search test. But the dog is hitting bone fragment with 100 per cent certainty every time,” Migaloo's trainer told members of the press.

From where we stand, it is quite likely that history museums will soon be fighting over which of them gets to work with this dog, as Migaloo's payment consists in tennis balls and affection.
