Back in February at MWC 2014, Lenovo took the opportunity to unveil the revamped Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean onboard.

The slate arrives with a 10-inch display with a beautiful 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, which constitutes an update from the previous 1280 x 800 pixels.

The rest of specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC with 1.6GHz quad-core CPU combined with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The previous model ran a 1.2GHz MT8125 quad-core processor (or MT8389 quad-core processor in the 3G model), so we see an improvement here too.

Lenovo has really managed to turn the original Yoga 10 tablet into a premium offering, so below we will bring you arguments that the device is a good choice for productivity-minded users.

Surely, the Lenovo Yoga can’t compete with Samsung’s high-end set of tablets that offer 2560 x 1600 pixel resolutions and draw power from octa-core processors fitted with 3GB of RAM.

With such specifications, the tablets are not expected to come cheap, but if you’re a user looking to get productive with your tablet and don’t have so much cash to spare, we will show you the Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ is a worthy alternative. And it costs only $349 / €254.

Kickstand Unlike most tablets out there, the Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ doesn't just lay flat out on the table, but comes with a build-in kick-stand. Actually, that’s one of its characteristic feats and the slate has three modes of use, including “hold, tilt and stand.”

But the kickstand is very important in our business use discussion. Stand mode is perfect for when users need to type, as well as for viewing presentations and media. Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ users won’t be needing any extra accessories to be able to position the slate in this mode, except maybe just a Bluetooth keyboard.

Long battery life

The Lenovo tablet is one of the slates with the longest battery lives on the market today. With a 9000 mAh power house laid under the hood, this product can provide users with up to 18 hours of life.

That’s a big plus for business users who are constantly travelling and need to stay productive outside of the office too.

Beautiful, sharp display

As we mentioned above, the Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ bumps the original 1280 x 800 resolution up to an improved 1920 x 1200. Furthermore, the screen is brighter and more colorful than its predecessor and business users might appreciate the new found crispness.
