Square-Enix is always the center of attention at any major gaming convention and this year's Tokyo Game Show was not exception. They've delivered many new trailers and details about their upcoming blockbuster, the list featuring no less than 3 brand new Kingdom Hearts games. It's weird, but predictable that all the three titles are destined to be launched on portable gaming devices, reaffirming their domination on the market.

No news about playing another one of Sora's adventures on the PS3 and Xbox 360, but we'll do with PSP and DS versions as well. The first of the trio is Kingdom Hearts Coded, which will be released on mobile phones (Japan only) and features an interesting battle concept. Players will have to control the famous Sora and navigate him through a digital world, where attacks are based on menu changes and messing up settings in order to teleport and shift the binary world around you.

The second title, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days will be available on the Nintendo DS and it will have Axel and Roxas as main characters. According to the game's trailers, four players will be able to fight the Heartless in co-op mode, but the title didn't quite seem to shine and it wasn't that impressive. Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is the best out of the three just announced titles and it will be available on the PSP. New characters, a new story, everything seems to have changed from the previous installments in the series...

All we could see for now was a superb CGI trailer, showing what Square-Enix can do when it comes to brilliant animations. Final Fantasy XIII also made a brief appearance at the TGS, as a new character was shown, a woman using a boomerang as her main weapon. The 3rd Birthday, another one of the Square-Enix's titles was also shown, but it was once a brilliant CG work. FF XIII Versus couldn't be forgotten, so the title was once again on the big screen, this time presented with the aid of a couple of new scenes. As FF and KH fans continue to drool we retire in our shelter, ready for hibernation and waiting for the time to speed up in order to reach those launch dates faster.
