14 DAY TRIAL // Marvel and Sony Pictures want you to get excited for spring already, even if we’ve just rang in the New Year. That’s because this is when the second installment of “The Amazing Spider-Man,” titled oh-so-originally “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” drops in theaters.
To help you do that, the studios have released 3 brand new posters for the film, which sees Andrew Garfield reprise his role as Peter Parker / Spidey and real-life girlfriend Emma Stone as love interest Gwen Stacy.
Though a banner poster revealed that our favorite superhero would be fighting no less than 3 villains in this new installment of the trilogy, the new batch of artwork only shows Electro, played by Jamie Foxx.
One of them only shows Spidey’s back and a huge chunk of cloudy sky, with the tagline also used in a previous trailer, “His greatest battle begins.”
If we’re to judge these posters by originality, they clearly don’t have much of it. Still, are you excited for the movie? If your answer is yes, then they have achieved their goal.
