2K Games announces that it will not have a booth at the upcoming E3 2013 trade show in June, and says that it plans to continue keeping fans updated on its future plans via other communications channels, including YouTube and Twitch.tv.

An official statement from the company states, "At 2K, we’re excited for the new opportunities coming with the next generation of hardware, and are hard at work preparing our announced titles for release."

The launch lineup for 2K for the rest of 2013 includes Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Brave New World, DLC for Borderlands 2, WWE 2K14, and the basketball simulation NBA 2K14.

Earlier during the week Nintendo announced that it was dropping its own E3 2013 press conference in order to focus on talking directly to potential players via other channels.
