Good Magazine recently debuted a clip that shows new Internet pornography statistics in a mode that is somehow unsafe for viewing at work. However, the clip is actually interesting and, besides the pretty woman presenting the statistics, it shows some shocking numbers concerning the online pornography and obviously our Internet security. The online adult material has always caused problems because there is no 100 percent efficient solution able to block all the pornographic content. So let's start with the percent of the porn created in several countries, the US being the leader with no more than 89%. 3 percent is also made in the UK while Germany has only 4 percent. According to the clip, almost 12% of the Internet websites are containing pornographic material and 25 percent of the search queries made on the search engine request adult material.

It seems that the most frequently searched keyword on Google is sex and no more than 35 percent of the Internet downloads are containing adult material. Because every second more than 28.000 Internet users are viewing pornography, 72 percent of them are men and the rest of 28 percent are women. No more than $89 is spent for adult material every second, which reveals a huge profit for this Internet market.

Because the pornographic market is quite successful, the companies are trying to develop new solutions and they manage to release 266 new porn pages every day. As I said, the US is the largest adult material creator having a revenue of $2.84 billion in 2006. The video also shows quite a shocking number that might reveal the inefficacy in your company: 70 percent of the online pornographic traffic is made between 9 and 5 PM in the workdays.

If you want to view all the numbers and the beautiful lady showing them, you should click play on the clip posted below the article. Remember that it might be quite unsafe to view it at work.
