270 Percent Higher Risk of Brain Tumor for Cellphone Users

Don't know about you but I will definitely cut down the time I spend with the mobile phone next to my ear (or at least I'll try). If you didn't hear about it until now, let me tell you that the cellphones affect the human health very seriously. Until now, nobody had serious
proof this really happens mainly because cellphones don't have a long history.

However, today, I found a piece of information on the web saying a team of researchers from many universities, all led by Anna Lahkola, a researcher from the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority in Finland, found clear evidence directly implying mobile phones have direct consequences on human health.

Their study's results say that each mobile phone user has 40 to 270 percent more chances to get a glioma (brain tumor) on their head on the exact side they prefer to hold their phone while talking.

According to their study, which made a comparison between 1521 users who in the end got glioma and 3301 ones that never experienced such a disease, in the individuals that used their cellphones more than 2000 hours throughout their lifetime, the risk of getting such a sickness rose by approximately 270 percent.

What is even more important than this is that the ones that seemed more affected by this affection because of intense mobile phone usage were the people under the age of 20.

That means you should warn every child or teen you know about this increased danger of brain tumor coming from them using a modern cellular phone.

Some mobile phone manufacturers already tried to fight against this danger associated with the very things they build but, when they found out there isn't an easy way to do it, they funded studies that told everyone cellphones were safe and no one should be afraid to buy one and profit from the easy means of communication they provide wherever the user goes.
