Just when we thought today was going to be packed with almost nothing else besides release over release of the NVIDIA-based GeForce GT 240 cards, AOC Europe found just the right time to introduce a product that would doubtlessly form a good combination with this new line of video cards. Berlin-based display specialist AOC Europe showcased today the attractive, new full HD LCD monitor 619Vh. Perfectly suited for any kind of display tasks, whether HD gaming or everyday professional use, the 26-inch, all-black display is 55cm wide and over 34cm tall.  

The 619Vh meets the high standards of several international organizations (EPEAT Silver, TCO, RoHS), which determine strict controls regarding energy consumption, ergonomics, safety and recycling. In addition, the display is also equipped with an energy-saving Eco mode. Coupling that with the ultra high-definition display capable of a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, AOC's monitor looks ready to take over the high-end market segment.  

The screen's width and the product's overall size yield advantages on their own as well. Allowing for two web pages or browser screens to be easily and comfortably viewed simultaneously, the display removes the need for tedious scrolling and clicking. Not only that, but the ample screen is especially convenient when working with spreadsheets or flowcharts.  

The monitor has a brightness range of up to 300cd/m2 and no less than an astounding 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, as well as Dynamic Color Boost (a special type of color optimizing technology). The small response time of merely 5ms allows for the flawless, high-speed rendering of images, videos and game scenes. This first-class visual rendering is complemented by the two integrated speakers, which deliver solid sound for a complete enjoyment of any application.

The AOC Europe LCD display 619Vh can be purchased in Europe for as low as 277 Euro and comes with a three-year warranty.
