While every games company hopes that the gamers are willing to pay more for their games, Matrix Games comes with their holiday special, offering exactly 16 games at promotional prices. Between the 26th of November to the 7th of January, a special set of games will be available for purchasing with a 25% discount all over the globe.

With a large range of game genres, this special offer might be the answer for those of you who still have no idea what nice gift to buy for Christmas. A strong "Ho! Ho! Ho!" from Santa Matrix. Well... not literary Santa, as one of the officials says.

"Ok, so this sale doesn't involve me dressing in a Santa Claus outfit and handing out some of our best products to everyone at the local mall, but it's pretty close! Our Game on Demand boxed copy is a perfect present for your favorite wargamer and is quite easy to gift wrap!", David Heath, Director of Operations at Matrix Games declared.

And, as you can see from the picture on the left, their offer is quite nice: the fully customizable PureSim Baseball 2007, the very detailed baseball game which allows you to play in Career mode and get tons of reports about everything. Or, maybe you prefer football, and you should try Maximum Football 2, with many great features like Xbox 360 controller support or free agent draft system.

The offer includes other great war games like Battlefront, the turn based tactical/strategic game, Advanced Tactics: WWII, the strategy game based on the World War II or Close Combat - Cross of Iron. Whatever you choose, remember: the offer stands until the 7th of January and the discount is 25%.

Oh, one more thing - a wide selection of these games supports play by e-mail gaming and TCP/IP play which gives people everywhere the option to fight against their friends, no matter where they are.
