It has wide viewing angles and a two-port USB hub, among other things

Last time we saw a BenQ product wasn't too long ago. It was this very month in fact, when the company released the 24-inch XL2411T 3D Vision 2-ready monitor.

Now, BenQ has released a new monitor which, coincidentally, also measures 24 inches in diagonal.

Unlike another recently-revealed display from Philips, it doesn't try to be all that “smart.”

It does have decent specs though. Then again, it has to, considering that its price is quite a bit higher (€289/$373 vs. €182 / $235).

The two speakers are, curiously enough, weaker (1W vs. 2W), but the contrast ratio is much better (5,000:1 vs. 1,000:1). The response time is superior as well (4ms vs 7ms).

BenQ further sweetened the deal by including a 2-port USB hub and a stand with height, tilt, stroke, pivot and swivel adjustment.

Furthermore, the company tossed in an eco-sensor (switched to Eco Mode when the user steps away from the PC) and a “Smart Reminder” that tells people to take a break if a predetermined period of time passes.

BenQ BL2410PT ships with D-Sub, DVI and DisplayPort outputs. Its VA panel (vertical alignment) gives it 178-degree viewing angles.
