As the name implies, it is waterproof, down to the connectors

Making an electronic completely impervious to the elements is impossible, but granting it a significant degree of resistance is now possible. Small PC has just proven that by launching the 24-inch marine LCD Display.

The LCD, bearing the part number of Multi-Touch LCD Display model SD240ML, has a luminance of 1,000 nits (brightness) and multi-touch support (projective capacitive touch).

It is also readable under sunlight and, in addition to situations that need it to be submerged underwater, can work well in public safety, military, industrial automation, transportation, etc.

The reason for this is that the water-proof build also grants it resistance to dirt and dust.

HDMI, VGA and Composite ports are included, along with USB (for the touch tech) and brightness control technology (0-100% front or rear mount potentiometer).

The price of the Small PC Marine Display is $3,695 / €2,738, but a lower-cost version without sunlight readability and multi-touch will show up soon too.
