As many features as colors

NTT DoCoMo will bring a great diversity and vivid color in its new lineup for the near future. Japan's leading operator just announced the release of 23 new mobile phones in a total of 75 colors for the 905i and 705i series.

Japanese mobile phones always seem to have stronger personality than those devices that are developed for a global release. The highly impressive specifications and sometimes high technology that rests behind their unique appearance is surely one reason for this impression. Still, the fact that they come in such a wide range of colors and designs is even stronger and looks like a major personality statement.

The new NTT DoCoMo mobile phone release includes 10 handsets from the 905i series packed with the most evolved performances. This means 3G/GSM international roaming with HSDPA data transfers reaching speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps. Other than that, some of these devices also bring mobile TV, an extremely popular service over the past period in Japan.

Other than that, GPS is also available on some of the devices, for making sure that the user is always on the right track. Moreover, they also bring the enhanced "2in1" combining the capabilities of two phones in one handset, and the DCMX credit card and iD credit payment services. These services have taken a giant leap in Japan, with little interest fro other countries, which makes their release here just right.

The lineup of 705i handsets includes the world's slimmest clamshell and waterproof models, as well as the slimmest handset configured for One-segment. These devices too bring some of the most advanced services that NTT DoCoMo is capable of supporting.

All these mobile phones have just been unveiled and should start gradually hitting the market in the near future, although it shouldn't take long until they will all be available in stores.
