Sony has released a brand new trailer for “22 Jump Street,” the sequel to the 2012 buddy cop comedy starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum as mismatched partners on the force Schmidt and Jenko. This final trailer is a red band one.

As such, I can’t embed it here, but you will find it on the Sony Pictures YouTube channel. *Please note that discretion is advised because it contains language that might offend and images of violence.

Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the film takes the cop duo we saw in the first film go deep undercover at a local high school in a bid to bring down a drug ring, head on to college. They’re too old now to pass for high school students and, because of the success of the first operation, the Jump Street project will be kept going.

However, there’s trouble on the horizon. Schmidt and Jenko, aside from being as disorganized and, to a certain extent, as incompetent as ever, are also not working anymore as partners. The new trailer opens with a scene with them during a therapy session.

Towards the end, the pace picks up: as they head for spring break and really get into character and start drinking, sleeping around, and partying their pants off, they will also get caught in nearly-impossible situations, throw punches left and right, and – my 2 cents – also solve the case.

“22 Jump Street” drops in theaters in the US on June 13.
