Most of the monitors Iiyama launches usually have few, if any, special traits, but sometimes it happens, like with the ProLite P2252HS.

This monitor has a thicker glass panel than usual. It's not Gorilla Glass, but it's enough to protect from most scratches and dirt.

In fact, the panel (it's an otherwise normal TN panel by the way) should be able to shrug off most shocks as well.

That said, the monitor is otherwise normal, with a Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), 5 ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, dual 1W speakers and three video inputs (D-Sub, DVI and HDMI).

All in all, the newcomer should be a decent buy for any business or consumer that isn't looking for anything too shocking or large.

The price of the Iiyama ProLite P2252HS is 36,800 yen / $370 / €276.
