Mariah Carey had to cancel one show from her newly-started Las Vegas residency last week, after coming down with a severe case of bronchitis that put her on complete vocal rest. By the 2015 Billboard Awards of last night, which also took place in Vegas, she was completely recovered.

Wearing a gorgeous Yousef Al Jasmi dress and Tom Ford shoes, the diva took to the stage to perform a 2-song medley of “Vision of Love,” one of her most famous songs, and the new release “Infinity,” which is actually the only new track included on her latest album “#1 to Infinity.”

The performance doubled as an ad for her Vegas shows, but at the same time, if there was a singer that deserved to be there, it was Mariah: she has the most number 1 Billboard hits and has been honored in time with both Song of the Decade and Artist of the Decade title.

You can see her impressive introduction in the video below, which also includes her performance. Mariah was clearly still a bit rough after her recent health issues, but she delivered perfectly.

Somehow, she even managed to hit her trademark high notes at the end of “Infinity,” even though there’d been portions of the track where she seemed to struggle. That said, people are crying “lip-sync” with the ending of the performance.
