If confirmation was needed anymore, Eminem has had one amazing year: he leads the pack of the nominations for this year’s Grammy Awards, which will take place on February 13, 2011, including in the major categories.

After what has undoubtedly been a very successful year, Em is about to cap it all off with at least a handful of wins at the Grammys, industry insiders speculate.

After all, it’s not for nothing that he earned a nod for Record of the Year for “Recovery” and Song of the Year for “Love the Way You Lie,” featuring Rihanna, which also got a nomination for Best Collaboration, BuzzSugar reports.

At the upcoming ceremony, one of the most prestigious in the music industry, the men are leading the pack: Eminem, Cee-Lo Green, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber all got nominated.

However, that’s not to say the ladies are not present, even though the strongest competitors are not really that surprising: Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Rihanna, with voices saying online that Lady Gaga is going to clean the awards.

“Other nominees that got me smiling are Arcade Fire, who picked up three noms including album of the year, and The Black Keys and Cee-Lo Green, who each picked up four nods apiece,” BuzzSugar says.

“Oh, and even the Twi-hards of the world have a reason to celebrate: the soundtrack for Eclipse scored a nod for best soundtrack,” the same e-zine notes.

The Late King of Pop is also up for an award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for “This Is It.” Also in the running for the same title is former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert with “Whataya Want from Me,” whom most industry awards have ignored thus far, despite being one of the hottest and most popular male artists of the day.
