Small form-factor (SFF) PCs are the definers of a segment of the IT market that is very popular with both business and non-business consumers, especially PC enthusiasts and hobbyists, obviously because of their compactness and easy setup. A leading designer of such PCs is Shuttle, a developer that is always finding new ways to integrate performance, style and affordability into the same product.

Although trying to become recognized as a mainstream PC brand, the fact remains that Shuttle's popularity is still due to its XPC products. The leading SFF PC developer, famous for its line of XPC small form-factor PCs, revealed the fact that it would be introducing the new XPC J Series at the world's largest trade show for consumer technology, the 2010 International CES.

“I can’t wait to present our new XPC model line-up for the coming year, the J Series in particular,” Nicolas Villalobos, manager at Shuttle Computer Group in Los Angeles, said. “Not only does the new J Series feature a re-designed chassis, it’s re-engineered with the latest chipsets to work with all the fastest new processors coming to the market in 2010.”

The products will feature a new design and will come in versions aimed at all levels of the market, whether entry-level, mainstream or high-performance computing. The products are meant to be the representatives of the advancements made by Shuttle in the area of small form-factor systems. As such, not only will they provide a convenient solution for efficient and powerful computing, but they will also come with support for the latest and upcoming Intel processors. This means that hobbyists and other enthusiasts will have a more than varied enough range of gadgets to spend their time browsing, buying and using.

The 2010 edition of the international CES will take place in Las Vegas between January 7 and 10.
