Estimated retail prices and upgrades costs

The Redmond Company has revealed the pricing details for the 2007 Microsoft Office System. The information disclosed by Microsoft is designed to give a heads up to businesses and individuals by presenting the estimated retail prices for all the 2007 Microsoft Office system products. In this context, the Redmond Company underlined the availability of Office 2007 not only via retail options, but also through OEMs and Microsoft Volume Licensing programs, starting from five licenses.

The price of Microsoft Office Basic 2007, Office Professional Plus 2007 and Office Enterprise 2007 has not been made public, since the first will be made available through Original Equipment Manufacturers, while the other two will be delivered through volume licensing. Their respective upgrade costs were also withhold.

Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 is the less expensive product in the Office Suite, with a price tag of $149 and Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 is situated at the opposite end with $679 and an upgrade cost of $539.

Existing Microsoft Office customers can upgrade to Office Standard, Small Business, Professional and Ultimate if they currently deploy any of the following products: Microsoft Works 6.0-10; Microsoft Works suite 2000-2006 or later; any 2000-2007 Microsoft Office program or suite; any Microsoft Office XP suite.
