If it hadn't been for the Resident Evil movies there would not be any George A Romero's Land of the Dead so no matter how one feels about the PC game inspired movies, zombie fans worldwide are forever grateful to the Resident Evil movies.
And it's not only them who appreciate the zombie movies written and (or) directed by Paul W. S. Anderson. Lots of horror crazed movie goers are dying to know what is to happen next with Alice and her squad.
Well both previous babes (Alice and Valentine) are to return in this third installment of the evil Umbrella Corporation saga. Milla Jovovich and Sienna Guillory will retake their female action packed parts. And so will Oded Fehr and Mike Epps.
Screen Gems' videogame-based horror-thriller will also offer some more brand new eye candy to horror fans: Ali Larter and R&B singer Ashanti will also get into the action and join the already well known zombie fighting team.
Larter is no stranger to the Horror gender as she made her first impressive on screen appearance in Final Destination. She will play Claire, a new character to the film franchise who was introduced in the video game "Resident Evil 2." Claire leads a convoy across the Nevada desert.
As the shooting starts this Monday in Mexico Ali Larter will most probably not join the Southland Tales team for the Cannes festival premiere.
One new male part has also been added: Chris Eagan (just waiting to benefit from the worldwide fame the Eragon fantasy movie is supposed to bring him) is also to star.
