Rapper 2 Chainz denies being robbed at gunpoint in San Francisco, hints no such incident took place

The other day, word got out that rapper 2 Chainz was the victim of an armed robbery in San Francisco and that, to make matters worse, all the members of his entourage ran “like cockroaches” when they realized the danger.

On Twitter, 2 Chainz is setting the record straight by hinting that the incident never took place because, if it had, there would be more details about it available.

“Rule #1 if a rapper gets robbed people usually post items that has been taken. Rings, chains, watch, money etc.,” he writes.

For the sake of argument, police sources did say that his wallet was stolen.

As for the reports that gunshots were fired in the attack, they’re not true either.

“Rule #2 if a rapper gets shot he usually go to hospital or dies,” he adds.

Rule #3 is about how he got high while in San Francisco and he’s pretty much “2 blessed 2 stress.”

TMZ, the same media outlet that broke the news of the robbery, notes that 2 Chainz’s recent tweets are in accordance to what police sources have been telling them, about how he got so mad at having been robbed that he didn’t even want to cooperate, but handle things on his own.

His saying now that the incident didn’t even happen is confusing, to say the least, especially since TMZ is sure there is surveillance footage putting 2 Chainz and his clique at the place of the robbery, and confirming that he was the intended target.

“San Francisco Police Department confirmed to Radio.com that 2Chainz was NOT the victim of the robbery yesterday,” the rapper retweeted after enumerating the 3 rules.

For more details on this, keep an eye on this space. If a robbery took place and if 2 Chainz was involved in it will eventually come out.
