They're both old sites, so the administrators likely haven't noticed the breach

A couple of domains of Billabong, the Australia-based clothing company, have been hacked by members of the famous hacktivist collective ZCompany Hacking Crew (ZHC).

The affected websites are freewave.billabong.com and artofshaping.billabong.com, HackRead reports.

The attack took place last week. However, since these subdomains have been created for events that took place in 2008 and 2011 – the Freewave Challenge and Art of Shaping, respectively – it’s likely that the administrators of Billabong.com are not aware of the attack.

At the time of writing, both sites are still defaced.

ZHC has targeted the website in protest against NATO and US operations in Pakistan.

“We can see that you are trying to free us from the tyrannical regime of dictators where we have freedom, and are replacing it with a so called democracy where the political parties are just legalized form of street gangs,” the hackers wrote on the defaced website.

They added, “Now you see we are very ungrateful people who condemn the people trying to free us, we think you have pretty much reason to get the hell out of our countries or InshAllah we will make you!”
