AgileBits has launched 1Password 4, a new version of its powerful password manager & form filler for iPhone and iPad customers. The new version is available 50% off for existing users.
“After years of dreaming and a year of pouring our blood, sweat, and tears into design and development, it feels great to be able to finally share it with you,” says Dave Teare, the head of AgileBits.
“1Password 4 was rewritten from the ground up to bring you these great new features,” he writes in the company’s newsletter sent out to subscribers.
1Password 4 brings favorites, iCloud syncing, automatic clipboard clearing, a new strong password generator, attachment viewing, item customization, faster syncing, a global search function, the ability to swipe to reveal the Action Bar, future proof encryption, and more.
Saving the best for last, Teare mentions the dedicated Web Mode in 1Password 4 which includes tabbed browsing, and automatic credit card and identity filling.
The interface also received an overhaul, with Teare noting, “All of these great new features have been wrapped up in a beautiful new design. From every bit to every pixel 1Password 4 is an amazing new app!”
As a token of AgileBits’ appreciation for longtime customers, the company is having an upgrade sale which slashes 50% off the regular purchase price for a limited time. The sale will be available until the end of 2012.
1Password costs $8.99 / €7.99.
