The guys from Daedalic Entertainment have decided to show gamers a number of new screenshots from its upcoming Noir point-and-click adventure game entitled 1954: Alcatraz.

These screenshots will take players behind the dark walls of the legendary US prison Alcatraz and give them a look at San Francisco's bay in the 1950s.

The game's story is set in city of San Francisco during the 50s and brings forward Joe, a man that is currently serving a 40-year sentence for armed assault. He hopes to escape but cannot do so without the help of his wife Christine.

Unfortunately, she isn't having it easy either, as Joe's partner in crime, Mickey, threatens to kill her if she doesn't give him the cash. The problem is that only Joe knows where the money is.

Players will have the tough job of escaping the highly protected prison of Alcatraz, and if they succeed, they will only end up in a rotten and corrupted city. Your choices “will directly influence the course of the story, resulting in surprising twists and different endings.”

If by any chance you're interested in playing the game, you should know that it will be available in early 2014. Till then, keep yourself updated by following Daedalic's Facebook page or you can even follow them on Twitter.
