Notebooks may be meant to sit in your lap, they wouldn't be called laptops otherwise, but that doesn't mean they're automatically comfortable to hold that way.

In fact, most of them aren't, because the vents are often located on the underside of the systems, and that's where all the hot air goes.

That's why there is a healthy market of laptop cooling stands. A market that Thermaltake is a member of.

The company has just introduced the Massive 14² Laptop cooling pad, with two 140 mm fans, a fan speed controller on the side, a LED lighting switch, a pair of USB 2.0 ports, and a hexagon shape mesh for maximized airflow.

The product should be good enough for notebooks with a display diagonal of 17 inches and below.
