
Rock, a UK performance laptop manufacturer, has launched the Quaddra T64. The system integrates an
AMD Turion 64 processor and a 17 inch X-Glass LCD display. The company says that the system is designed for the ones who want an allover good performance, which comes at a reasonable
price and that also has a quality screen.
The Quadra t64 offers two CPU's (Central Processing Units) by choice: 1,8 Ghz or 2,4 Ghz, with 25 Watts, respectively 35 Watts power consumption. In addition to its 64 bit processors, Quaddra t64 includes ATI's Mobility Radeon X700 graphics chipset that has 256 mb standard dedicated memory. Also, T64 has a built in webcamera, with a 1,3 megapixels resolution. The company claims that the new Quaddra has a 3,5 hours battery life.
Optionally, you can buy a digital TV tuner.
As standard, you have also Bluetooth and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi wireless. Other standard features include 1GB of DDR 400MHz SDRAM, 80GB (5400rpm) hard disk drive, 8x dual-layer DVD recorder and Windows XP Home operating system.
The price for the new Quaddra T64 is 1700 USD.
