Although the market segment targeted by USB flash drive duplicators is fairly narrow, that's not stopping the manufacturers of such devices to adopt the latest USB-related technologies, and that's also the case with Nexcopy, who's just introduced its first-ever 16-port USB 3.0 flash drive duplicator.

Also known as part number SSUSB160PC, this device allow users to replicate the same set of data on up to 16 different flash drives, at USB 3.0 (SuperSpeed USB) transfer rates, which means that the time required in order to complete the process drops significantly.

It's also interesting to note that the SSUSB160PC comes with a 120-watt internal power supply capable of powering 16 external USB hard drives, while the pre-loaded Drive Manager software provides the user with a host of options for data loading, unique data streaming, device imaging and data collecting.

Plus, given the fact that the flash drives come in all shapes and sizes nowadays, the duplicator provides plenty of space between the 16 USB connectors placed on its top side (however, 37mm width x 15mm height are the maximum supported dimensions for flash drives).

And speaking of dimensions, we'll also have to point out that one will require quite a bit of space in order to set up the SuperSpeed duplicator, since this thing measures 298 x 205 x 190 mm and weighs around 2.41 kg.

The device enables users to copy directly from binary IMG files, select Bit-for-Bit binary copy from a Master device, erase and format the drives, as well as assign Windows drive letters to each of them or set them to read-only status.

Moreover, supported file systems include FAT, FAT32, NTFS, Linux ext2, ext3, HFS (Mac OSX), as well as Master Boot Record – MBR.

Sadly, no pricing details have been provided for the SSUSB160PC, which means that if you're interested in such details, you'll have to contact the company directly.
