A 73-year-old man from Nepal could be granted the title of shortest man in the world, in the immovable category. Master Nau is barely 16 inches (40 cm) tall.

The category has been created to grant titles to people who do not have the ability to walk. The title is yet to be awarded, as Guinness officials are looking into Nau's particularly small legs.

“Whenever he goes out, people stop to look at him. Soon a small crowd would gather, which makes it difficult,” Nau's niece, Seema Sheikh, describes for Metro.

She also mentions that he loves traveling and hires a rickshaw to take trips to the local market. He gets around in a wheelchair. For his Guinness assessment, he has had to travel to Nepal's capital city of Kathmandu.
