Hackers of the Moroccan Ghosts group have defaced 152 Spanish websites in response to a judge’s ruling, according to which, the Spanish Coast Guard isn't responsible for the deaths of 7 Moroccans who died while trying to get to Spain in a small boat.

In response to the ruling, the hacktivists have defaced the Spanish websites to display their protest message, HackRead reports.

“Who can believe your lies? Or who ‘must’ accept this funny show? The Spanish Civil Guard is the only responsible for the death of 7 Moroccan immigrants in the Canaries…so, be far from political calculations and repeat the trial of those animals.”

At the time of writing, most of the websites were taken offline, but some of them still displayed the protest message posted by the hackers.

In the meantime, Moroccan Ghosts have announced that they’re taking a break from the hacking scene for a few weeks.
