The hacker says there is no particular reason for which the sites were defaced

A hacker that goes by the name of Dark Snipper, part of the IT-Dosti Hackerz group, breached and defaced a number of 15 websites.

The list of victims includes Realmazaa, ChatMyIndia, GoogleStar16, Apps4Share, My Special Search, Sports Online 24/7, Fultoo Entertainment and a number of sites that belong to Australian IT-related businesses.

A message posted on the defaced sites reveals that the breach was performed for “no personal reasons”.

“Every Day Every One Gets Hacked Today Was Your Bad Day,” the hackers wrote right under the picture of a young Joker.

They claim that only the index page was replaced and that the rest of the data stored in the sites’ databases was left unharmed.

Judging by the hacker’s “greetz” and by the fact that some of the targeted sites belong to Indian firms, he may originate from Pakistan.

At press time the affected sites still displayed the image posted by Dark Snipper.

Update. One of our readers informed us that Dark Snipper is actually from India.
