Above is a brand new, 13-minute featurette for “The Dark Knight Rises,” which is scheduled for theatrical release on July 20. It contains plenty of details on the characters and some spoilers for the plot.
The video shows director Chris Nolan shooting action scenes, talking about the incredible cast he assembled for this third and last installment, and explaining why he made TDKR his biggest movie to date.
“Every great story deserves a great ending” and this is it, he says.
As expected, the featurette also includes appearances from the stars of the film, Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Marion Cotillard, each explaining the connection his or her character shares with Bruce Wayne / Batman.
Above all, the video promises a film like no other, of such a huge scope that only seeing it in IMAX will do it justice.
