Apple is reportedly planning to debut the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display together with the iPad mini and, although the fruit-named company provided absolutely no information on the matter, new details seem to confirm all rumors.

One of the users of Chinese website WeiPhone.com published a set of photos showing what seems to be the upcoming 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

While nobody can tell for sure whether this is indeed the version that’s about to be released by Apple, the device adopts the same port layout as its bigger brother, the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

As you can see in these photos, buyers of the 13-inch version would get an SD card slot, HDMI and USB ports on the right side and MagSafe 2, two Thunderbolt and other USB ports on the left side.

It’s not yet confirmed, but the user said he installed Windows 7 on the new 13-inch MacBook version and used it with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels.

With so many rumors swirling around until now, the only thing we didn’t know about the smaller MacBook Pro with Retina is the pricing.

Well, according to more speculation released by 9to5Mac, the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display is going to cost $1,699 (€1300), while a higher-specification model will add another $200 (€153) or $300 (€230).

Apple is yet to comment on all these rumors, but all details and tech specs are going to be released tomorrow when the Cupertino-based company is expected to launch both the iPad mini and the new MacBook.
