When it comes to tall claims, more or less every company on the PC market has one under its belt. In this particular instance, Eurocom is trying to gather some followers by introducing what is supposedly the most powerful 13.3-inch laptop.

The company backs that claim with a fairly advanced specifications sheet too, so unless a rival company challenges its claim, we'll go with it.

The new notebook is called Eurocom M3 and relies on the Intel Core i7-4930MX Extreme central processing unit (CPU), with HD graphics.

For those who don't know, the CPU is a quad-core 22nm unit with 8 threads, clock speeds of 3 / 3.9 GHz, and 57W TDP, plus HD 4600 graphics (400 MHz / 1.35 GHz).

The CPU is not the only option of course, but it is the strongest that Eurocom can shove into this particular notebook.

The iGP isn't all that mighty though, so there is a discrete graphics card included as well, an 850 MHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M with 768 CUDA Cores and 2 GB GDDR5. Optimus 2.0 technology shifts from it to the iGP when practical.

Holding everything together is the High Performance Intel Mobile HM87 Express (Haswell), while up to 16 GB of DDR3-1600 MHz complete the core set.

As for storage space, 2.5 TB of HDD/SSD capacity can be installed. There are two mSATA 3 connectors, plus a standard SATA III port. RAID capability ensure both performance and security.

Other specifications include a backlit keyboard (3 lighting options), USB 2.0, three USB 3.0 ports (one powered AC/DC), HDMI 1.4z, VGA, heaphone/mic jacks, and RJ45/LAN.

Finally, high-quality audio is included by virtue of a Sound Blaster Cinema discrete card and 2 speakers (plus a microphone of course).

All the hardware is hidden beneath the keyboard we have mentioned, leaving the top with just the 13.3-inch Full HD LCD (RGB, 1920 x 1080 pixels). It is a matte, LED-backlit panel with 700:1 contrast ratio. As for the battery life, it can last for five hours on a good day. The price of the Eurocom M3 is unknown.
