The murder trial in 8-year-old Leila Fowler's death has started off with the girl's 12-year-old brother denying killing her.

FOX 40 Sacramento mentions that the young boy, identified as Isaiah Fowler is claiming his innocence in the case. His defense team has entered a not guilty plea on Wednesday, May 29.

He will be back in court in July, and he remains detained as of yet. His family may be moving, and his situation remains unresolved.

Since Fowler is a minor, the not guilty claim has been submitted as a denial of allegation plea. As I have told you, he may be tried as an adult if the judge deems it necessary.

Fowler initially told investigators that an intruder fatally stabbed his sister when she surprised him. He even gave officers a detailed description of the assailant.
