Any of the rich themes can be used to create websites, blogs, and podcasts complete with photos, movies and music. Users just drag, drop, and design using whatever web templates they wish, after which they can publish the result live to their .Mac account (and not only).
For example, the new Mailroom Theme for iWeb ($19.95), is “packed with fun,” according to 11Mystics. “This theme comes with over 150 drag and droppable themed images you can use within your pages! There are giant letters and characters, photo corners, frames with pseudo glass overlays, name plaques, and more,” says the company. Nevertheless, even 11Mystics admits that one of its most attractive themes is still the Italian Tile Theme ($19.95). The “rich, earthy theme [is] full of complex textures and layered imagery. Visually, it's one of the most attractive themes available for iWeb and it comes with an extra pack of images you can use on your pages. The original version of this theme cannot compare,” says 11Mystics.
All of the 5 new additional themes can be easily customized so iWeb users don’t have to worry about the design. Since the themes incorporate a number of individual graphic elements, they can be removed, moved to another location, and changed in size, opacity or color. Several different page layouts are available to accommodate various types of information, while a built-in installer makes sure the themes end up in the right place. “To get started, just download, install the themes, choose the perfect theme, and create a website that is uniquely yours,” says 11Mystics.
However, the company does add, a few clicks down on its website, that, although Apple's iWeb application should help you build a website quickly and easily, you can find yourself stuck on the basics just as well. This is why 11Mystics also advises interested parties to order their own copy of the “Take Control of iWeb” ebook.
