This past Wednesday, an 11-year-old boy named Tanishq Abraham graduated from the American River College in Sacramento, California. Yes, this actually happened.

Even more impressive, it was only last year that the young boy finished high school and enrolled at the California college. The icing on the cake: he graduated with three associate degrees in math, science and foreign language studies.

“2 Infinity and Beyond,” Tanishq Abraham wrote on the cap he wore on the day of his graduation. In case anyone was wondering, that's a quote from “Toy Story.”

He's still very young, but the 11-year-old is already thinking about which career might suit him best. So far, he's considered becoming a doctor, perhaps a scientist with a Nobel Prize to show for it or president of the US.

“I want to become a doctor, but I also want to become a medical researcher, and also the president of the United States,” Tanishq Abraham said in an interview after Wednesday's graduation ceremony.

The boy was accompanied to his graduation ceremony by his mother, his father, his sister - who, by the way, is also a prodigy - and a doctor of veterinary and close friend who would tutor him when he was younger.

By the looks of it, 11-year-old Tanishq Abraham might just be the youngest person ever to graduate from the American College in Sacramento, California. He was definitely the youngest at this year's ceremony.

“The assumption is that he's the all-time youngest. But we don't have all the archives to completely confirm,” college spokesperson Scott Crow told the press, as cited by NBC News.

When younger, the boy didn't like going to school

Tanishq Abraham's mother says that, when he was much younger, the boy didn't like going to school simply because he believed the classes were not stimulating enough. Boring is how he described them.

Hence, his parents hired him tutors and home-schooled him. When just 4 years old, Tanishq Abraham was invited to join MENSA, a non-profit organization that is the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world.
