You'd expect that a product revealed back in January would have started selling long ago, but that's not the case for the Vizio Windows 8 Tablet PC.
The device has only now been released, with its 11.6-inch display and AMD Z-60 processor.
That's right, this isn't an Intel Haswell-based or Atom-powered electronic item, but one that uses an AMD APU.
Said accelerated processing unit has 1 GHz clock speed, two cores, 2 threads, and 64-bit support.
The chip is backed by 2 GB of DDR3 RAM (random access memory) and processes the files held on the 64 GB SSD.
Meanwhile, the display has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
All in all, Vizio's 11.6-inch Windows 8 Tablet PC is a conundrum, mixing a good display and lots of memory with a rather outdated processor.
