On Wednesday, game publisher 10tons has announced the launch of three popular mobile games for the Palm Pre smartphone, namely Sparkle, Azkend, and Miriel the Magical Merchant, all of which were created using the Palm PDK.

According to the company, these are only the first titles it plans on releasing on the webOS platform, as more games should become available before the end of the ongoing year.

“We're thrilled to have our games available in the Palm App Catalog, particularly as we see it growing into a thriving gaming community,” said Tero Alatalo, the CEO of 10tons.

“The platform has been really easy to work with. Thanks to the introduction of Palm webOS PDK, we were able to port three full games to webOS in just a few days.”

Sparkle is a premium action puzzler that managed to become the most popular title on a casual gaming portal when launched for Mac and PC.

The game takes players in a journey to uncover the secrets of Crowberry Woods. “Controlling the Orb Slinger, players can banish the darkness and reclaim the once beautiful and serene woods,” the company notes.

Azkend is another addictive puzzle game, sporting smooth touch controls and great graphics. Players have to string items together on the board so as to create chains of three or more items.

The game comes with a series of breathtaking scenes, which come along with the relaxed atmosphere the entire game sports.

Offering two different game modes, the title is capable of keeping players busy for hours, the game publisher announced.

As for Miriel the Magical Merchant, it is a game about Miriel, which runs a general store in a magical kingdom.

According to the company, “players help Miriel travel through the kingdom and uncover an expanding storyline while building a general store empire.”

All three games have been added to the Palm App Catalog and can be purchased for $2.99 each.
