One senior is daring enough to do something that most of us dread doing – basejumping. Dorothy Custer of Twin Falls, Idaho is 102 years old, and her latest birthday has been celebrated with a bang.

Dorothy Custer zip lined on her 101st birthday and she was planning on skydiving this year. She backed out at the last second after learning of the costs involved, and decided to have a calm and quiet birthday party instead.

However, her family surprised her with a tandem jump off the Perrine Bridge. Pro Sean Chuman jumped with her, and he was very happy to see that a centenarian would try the jump.

"I've kind of asked myself that too ...I guess probably because I don't know any better," Custer tells KMVT, when asked about why she would go ahead with it.
