Just recently, Edward and Hya Heine from Carroll County, Virginia, decided that it might not be such a bad idea to give up on driving their Jaguar and instead turn towards a more environmentally-friendly car. Thus, they opted for a 2012 Chevrolet Volt.

Although the couple spent decades getting around by means of gasoline powered vehicles, they do believe that one is never too old to change their habits, especially since recent developments in the fields of engineering and science brought about amazing technologies one need experiment with at least once in their lives.

Apparently, it was Hya who first had the idea to purchase the 2012 Chevrolet Volt, because, as she explained, “If you're going to live, you should be up to date, and try to be technologically intelligent.”

As far as we are concerned, this elderly couple stands as proof that green driving is not just for the younger generations, and that it is never too late to start showing some concern for the environment.
