Walmart's reputation is again used in a Facebook scam that's been seen on the walls of unsuspecting members.

The classic survey hoax promises a free $1000 (700 EUR) gift card to anyone that's willing to share the ad, adding a comment that says “Thanks, I love Walmart!!!”

To make users share it without thinking about it too much, the scheme claims that the number of cards is limited, Facecrook reports.

Right after that, the poll page which earns the crooks affiliate cash makes an appearance.

Before clicking on such ads, think of the fact that not only will you fill the pockets of the cybervillains but you'll not get anything out of this deal. If you already shared the scam, remove it from your wall before your friends fall for it too.
